April Showers Bring......Harley's?

Riding in my four wheeled vehicle last Sunday, I was taking in all that Spring has to offer.  Living in the midwest, it seems it has been light years since we had a temperature above 60!

As I pulled up to the stoplight, to my left roared in one of the sure signs of Spring:  a Harley rider!  While I love to see the first bikers of the season and admire their adventurous spirit, I couldn't help but think how noisy they were.  I immediately rolled up my window until he passed, but it then had me thinking that if it's noisy for me, I imagine that it's crazy noisy for the riders themselves along with hearing the wind rushing through your ears.

Turns out there is a SLOW movement in the biking community to start wearing ear plugs.  Seems that some may not find them cool or it just ruins the whole experience for them, but there are others embracing the idea having spoken with long time riders who can't hear a thing now.  Many have used foam plugs in the past, but are now venturing into custom earplugs and even plugs that conform to your earbuds.

It's a fairly simple process and if you do one impression, you can make custom plugs and an additional pair that fits to your earbud device.

If you're a rider, check out Liberty Health Supply's custom earplug solutions:  Custom Ear Plugs.  The benefits are endless and if and when you decide to retire your bike, your ears will be as good as new!

Now if I could only get some for when the riders pass by me on the road :)! Love ya Harley riders - keep goin'!
