Detecting Level of Hearing Loss?

Have you been feeling that it is getting harder and harder to hear those around you when they speak?  Does it, at times, sound muffled?
On average, the most quiet sounds heard by people with their better ear are between 40 and 70 dB. People who suffer from moderate hearing loss have difficulty keeping up with conversations when not using a hearing aid.
If you are suffering from hearing loss it is best to have a hearing health care professional explain the results of the audiogram to you, giving you the best possible understanding of your particular problem.

The audiogram illustrates your hearing ability by showing your hearing threshold at various frequencies. Hearing threshold is an indication of how soft a sound may get before it is inaudible. A hearing threshold of between 0 and 25 dB is considered normal.

Check back next week as we kick off our February Facebook Fan Drive!  Those are alot of F's - phew!
